MISSHA M PERFECT COVER BB CREAM #21
- price.. i only have a sample, but it lasted for 6days
- coverage: light, maybe medium if you use more..
- oil-control: good
- shade: I got 21
- scent: love the scent
- it doesn't break me out, so far; been using it for 6 days straight
Ok, maybe the sample lasted me 6 days coz I used it very sparingly the 1st day. I was afraid to put on too much lol. But I went all out the 2nd day, and I liked the result much better. I used Missha's BB Boomer underneath it for the first 4 days, and just my moisturizer (as primer hehe) on the last 2 days. I didn't really see much difference. Although I only had the BB cream on my face for about 3 hours the last 2 days.
As for the coverage, it covers my acne marks very slightly. I need concealer or my foundation to cover it up better. Well, my acne marks are pretty fresh so they are pretty dark.
I tried the cream without the BB Boomer (just my moisturizer) and without powder on top; by the 2nd hour, my face still didn't look oily. Although I did feel some oil when I touched my forehead. I've usually topped this with Clean and Clear Oil Control Powder though and shine is only very very slightly visible even between the 4-5th hour. That's amazing. I love the powder, works very well with this BB Cream.
I got shade 21. It looks rather white at first, but as what other people has said, it somehow "blends" into my skin and becomes just the perfect shade.
And what's even greater about this product besides everything I've just said? It didn't break me out!
I'll be trying Hanskin's BB Cream next week. Good luck to me!

I'm almost done with the full tube =) What I love most about it is it never broke me out. What I hate most about it is the oil control. It just isn't good. It was ok at first (based on the log above), but it's not good enough. I become oily by the 2nd hour and very oily by the 3rd hour. I've also changed to Maybelline Clear Smooth Powder, it helps a lot, but only for about an hour. I will try to purchase OC 8 from my derm as she said that this does helps in oil control a lot. It's just a bit too expensive though..

The Face Shop Professional Foundation oil-free
The Face Shop Professional Foundation oil-free
- P395 for 40ml (price around that range)
- coverage: light, maybe medium if you use more
- oil-control: good
- shade: several availabele. I got "21, light beige"
- scent: very faint, shouldn't be a problem unless you're uber sensitive to fragrance
- it doesn't break me out, so far; been using it for 5 days straight
I don't really like the way it "covers" my skin. Again, maybe I just don't know how to apply it properly. So what I do is to use Biotherm foundation () first then put this on top, I like the result. It's not vavavoom great, but it's pretty good. The Biotherm I got is a bit too dark for me so when I put a layer of this, the result matches my skin tone better.
What I love most about this is the way it gives me a matte finish and my skin doesn't feel "sticky" afterwards. Yay to oil-free!
I'm not breaking out so far, which is good. But then again, I use it on top of Biotherm, which doesn't break me out at all. Not sure if it will be the same when I wear it alone. Got to get a primer, yes, I don't use primers, moisturizer doubles up as primer for me lol. Maybe it will look better on my skin with a primer? We'll see..

Moisturizing Radiance Oligo-Thermal Foundation SPF 15
- forgot the price
- coverage: light to medium, maybe even up to full if you use more
- oil-control: not good if worn alone. Well, it's moisturizing, what can I say?
- shade: 220, too dark for me
- scent: very faint, shouldn't be a problem unless you're uber sensitive to fragrance
- it doesn't break me out =)
I love this, although I wish it wasn't so moisturizing. It gives light to medium coverage, depending on how much you put on. My face starts to get oily pretty much within the hour though. I now top it with TFS Professional Foundation () and it controls oil better, some shininess can be seen in around the 3rd hour. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to slather 2 layers of foundation on my face though? I'm not new to foundation, but I used to use it as concealer only, very seldom on my whole face.
This one doesn't break me out which is a very very very good thing. I should get another one from this brand that's not so moisturizing.

- P795 I think for 6.2ml
- coverage: not good, or maybe I don't know how to put it on properly?
- oil control: ?
- shade: light, too light but blendable
- scent: strong alcohol-y scent, should be the salicylic acid
I should have gone with my instinct not to purchase this one. It's super watery that it doesn't conceal my blemishes properly (ie. pimples and scars). But I was sold on the fact that it has salicylic acid =I
I should try Body Shop's pencil-like concealer.. That was what I was supposed to get in the first place!
Garnier LIGHT Whitening Face Powder
Garnier Skin Naturals LIGHT Whitening Face Powder vit.C
- P199, 9grams
- coverage: light
- oil control: face starts to show signs of oil in about 2 hours, but still ok
- shade: I think they have 3 shades. I got "light"
- scent: strong alcohol-y scent, should be the salicylic acid
I was looking for an affordable face powder and the one that caught my eye was Maybelline. The powders were only priced at P199 but the shades available din't seem to match my skintone. They didn't have testers so there was no way I can check. Then I found Garnier. Same price. Long-lasting shine free effect. SPF18. Seems good. Shade seem good.
I got 01-Ivory, the shade did match my skintone. However, the smell really sucks. I don't know if all Garnier products smells like this, but it's such a t.o. It's very chemical-y, it seemed to smell bit sour somehow. Oh dear, maybe this is an old stock?
Anyway, as for the oil-control part, my face started to shine a bit in aboout 2 hours, I think. I'll try to test again. This is pretty good considering my face gets oily 15-30minutes after I wash it.
